yay, another one.
Hey everyone (:
It's really fun to make tutorials so here is another one. Hope you like it!

to

STEP 01
Choose a picture, crop it down and sharpen if necessary. This time I took one of Rachel McAdams.

STEP 02
Duplicate your base and set it to "Screen (72%)"

STEP 03
Now make a new layer and fill it with #7ebbf4
and set to "Color Burn (100%)

STEP 04
Make a new Hue/Saturation layer and set it to +40

STEP 05
Yay, another Hue/Saturation layer. Set the 'reds' to +48 and
264/249 354/324

STEP 06

Last but not least you can add a texture if you want. I added this one:

The colors are lovely, but you forgot to specify to which properties we should set the colored layer at Step 3.

Awesome tut, but I don't understand the last part of Step 5. What is "264/249 354/324"? Does that have something to do with the hue and lightness? And does the "+48" mean make the saturation +48 or is that for something else?
Beckievil_cola on July 28th, 2010 04:55 pm (UTC)
Thanks a lot (:
Sorry, I didn't really know how to describe it. Maybe this screenshot will help you a little bit. I know it's German but I think it should be clear.
'Sättigung' means 'saturation' and there is a red circle 'round this "264/249 354/324" thing and a black narrow where you can change it. I hope it helps you :D
